How to get started... To enroll in any of the Communiversity courses, a student must first be admitted to one of the member institutions offering degrees at the Communiversity. The institution to which a students is admitted is designated as the student's "home institution". Brookdale has open admissions and has articulation agreements to facilitate the transfer for Brookdale graduates to the baccalaureate programs; the other member institutions determine their own admission requirements.

Preparing for MBA Admission - Next Cohort Begins Feb 2007Montclair State University's MBA program at the Communiversity, also called the "MBA at Brookdale", begins a new cohort of students once a year. All classes are held on Saturdays, over two years, with two courses in each 10-week term (see schedule details at MBA at_Brookdale).
To apply for admission to the next cohort, follow these steps:
- Consult with the Communiversity staff about the MBA program and any questions you might have. Then review the MSU MBA Admissions Requirements.
- Go to the Montclair State MBA website, www.montclair.edu/mba, and follow the links to Apply Now.
- This will take you to the MSU graduate application process. You can complete an application entirely online, or download the application materials - or request an application be mailed to you. Be sure that you check "Brookdale MBA/Communiversity" on the application form.
- You may apply at any time during the year, and all applications are processed on a rolling admissions basis. However, only one cohort is started each academic year, and applicants are encouraged to apply well in advance of that start date to ensure there is time for a comprehensive review of their credentials.
- You will be notified about your acceptance as soon as possible after it has been completed and forwarded by the Graduate School for review. You may be asked to schedule an admissions interview with the MBA Director before a decision can be made on your application: you will be notified of this if needed.
- If you are accepted to the MBA Program, you will meet with the MBA Director for academic advising and a review of your eligibility for advanced standing.
- International applicants - additional requirements: Applicants with undergraduate degrees earned outside the U.S. should consult the information at http://sbus.montclair.edu/mba/html/mba_admission_requirements.html#international_applicants.
