Thinking of a career in
Liberal Arts?


Students interested in the Liberal Arts track have degree options through the Communiversity ranging from the associate level in Humanities to bachelor’s degrees in Liberal Studies or Labor and Employment Relations. Graduates can look forward to careers in business, teaching, law, counseling, human resources, higher education,
administration, human services, advertising, public relations, benefits administration, insurance, journalism, marketing, health care, recruiting, conflict resolution, employee relations, training, politics, research, to name a few. Students are also prepared for graduate education including but not limited to law, business, public policy, and education.

Associate Degree
Humanities Program AA

The Humanities AA degree prepares students to transfer to bachelor's degrees in many liberal arts disciplines.
(Offered by Brookdale Community College and Ocean County College)

Other transferrable associate degrees are available at BCC and OCC. The Humanities AA degree is the suggested degree.

Labor Studies and
Employment Relations BA


The Labor Studies and Employment Relations BA provides students with an understanding of the nature of work, the problems of working people, and what workers, managers, employers, and society has done and can do in the future to address those problems. Courses towards this degree are held at the Western Monmouth Higher Education Center in Freehold.

Liberal Studies BA

This degree incorporates a wide range of disciplines to develop students into life-long learners. The program graduates are capable of entering any number of job markets or continuing their education in an array of graduate degrees. Courses towards this degree are held at the Western Monmouth Higher Education Center in Freehold.
