You really CAN do two things at the same time!

  • Take courses for your associate degree from Brookdale; and,
  • Take courses toward the first two years of your bachelor's degree from the New Jersey Coastal Communiversity!
The New Jersey Coastal Communiversity is specially designed for Brookdale graduates to seamlessly transfer to one of the Communiversity’s bachelor’s degree programs in the areas of:

  • Business Administration
  • Criminal Justice
  • Education
  • Health Sciences
  • Information Technology
  • Liberal Arts

Brookdale offers the first and second year courses required for the associate degrees and has articulation agreements, and in some cases Joint Admission Agreements, to guarantee the transfer of those courses toward specific bachelor’s degrees offered through the New Jersey Coastal Communiversity at the Brookdale campus in Wall Township.

You have choices – go for your associate degree – or go for your associate degree and beyond. You don’t need to decide right now. You just need to get started. It is very important that you talk with an academic advisor early in your college career to make sure you take the right courses to complete your associate degree and, if you choose to go further, you will already have the right courses to seamlessly transfer to the junior year of your bachelor’s degree program.

The eight partner colleges which make up the NJ Coastal Communiversity are: Brookdale Community College, Rutgers University, Montclair State University, Kean University, Georgian Court University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey City University, and Ocean County College.

Call (732) 280-7090 to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor, or attend an upcoming Open House and On-Site Registration Session (dates and times are listed on the Communiversity web site at http://njcommuniversity.org).
